Web Visitor Management System (Web VMS) is a management software that helps to keeps track of all incoming and outgoing visitors or contractors on a daily basis to further maintain security within the area of responsibility. It is a web based system which enabled user to access the system anytime and anywhere as long there is internet connectivity. This System comes with various features for both Management and User convenience. With enhanced feature such as Pre-arrival Notification function, it simplified the tedious steps for the host to inform the security about the visitation of visitor.
Host just need to fill in some information about the up coming visitation in the system and these details will be displayed directly to the security as to inform the security about the up coming visitation of the visitor. In addition, this version is enhanced with additional function in which this system can be integrated with Malaysia’s MyKad Reader, Barcode Scanner and OCR Passport Scanner.
As a result, they no longer need to manually fill in the needed information. Besides, this system able to eliminated all paper works related to recording incoming and outgoing visitors or contractors, all details will be recorded in system including visitor details, person to visit, purpose of visit, date and time the visitor enter the area and so on. This information is very useful since it helps the management or security to monitor the presence of the visitor in ease.
